🌾 Local Farmer Set to Star in New Children’s TV Show – Meet Richard from Bradshaw’s Farm, Hinckley!
There’s big news bubbling from the heart of the Midlands — and it’s not just about the upcoming Leicestonbury Festival near Hinckley. This week, we caught up with Richard and Wendy of Bradshaw’s Farm, the husband-and-wife duo behind Leicestonbury, and they had an amazing story to share.
While chatting around the farmhouse table, Wendy revealed that Richard has been headhunted — yes, our very own farmer Richard! A local professor and children’s video creator reached out to him with a proposal: to star in a new children’s video series about life on the farm, designed for little ones aged 2 to 7.
📺 The show will follow Richard around the farm in a fun, educational way — think farming for kids, real-life show-and-tell, and behind-the-scenes of daily countryside life. It’s all about helping young children understand where their food comes from, how animals are cared for, and what farm life is really like — straight from a real working farm near Hinckley.
This wholesome, heartfelt project reflects everything that Leicestonbury Festival is about: community, authenticity, family fun, and a big dose of local charm.
🎪 And speaking of charm — don’t forget that Leicestonbury Festival runs 17–20 July 2025! With live music, family entertainment, glamping, camping, and food & drink in a stunning Hinckley countryside setting, it’s the Midlands’ favourite nostalgia festival.
